Built in 1972 through the generosity of the E. Claiborne Robins family, the Robins Center is heralded as one of the finest facilities of its kind in America.

For nearly three decades, the Robins Center has served as the hub of all activities for University of Richmond athletics, and is home for all19 Spider sports programs.

The Robins Center main arena serves as the showplace for the Spider men and women's basketball programs, and 9,171 theatre seats provide an excellent view of all arena activities.

In addition, the Robins Center houses the Spider Training and Conditioning Center and a superb Sports Medicine facility.

The Center for Student Athlete Development and Academic Services is also located here.

Current and future Robins Center renovations and enhancements ensure that the Robins Center will always be a place all Spiders are proud to call home.

From the north: 95 South to 64 West (Exit 79). Take Glenside Drive Exit (Exit 183A). At the fourth stoplight, turn left on Three Chopt Road. After approximately a half mile, turn right onto Boatwright Drive. Bear right at the bottom of the hill. The Robins Center and the Soccer/Track Complex are on the immediate left. Pitt Field is located next to the large parking lot adjacent to the Robins Center.
