Three Spiders Represent On A-10 All-Conference Teams

UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Juniors Jessie Wolfe and Sarah Hilt made the 2007 Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer All-Conference First Team. Wolfe, a native of Germantown, Md. leads the Spiders with five goals going into A-10 tournament play this weekend. Hilt, a native of Chesterfield, Va. has been a key element to Richmond's defense all season. Goalkeeper Kate Hudson represented the Spiders on the A-10 Academic All-Conference team. Wolfe, a forward for the Spiders, has played and started in every game this season. She also leads the team in shots with 61. Her biggest effort came against St. Bonaventure where she recorded two goals and assist to help Richmond overpower the Bonnies 4-0. Hilt has appeared in every game with 16 starts. She has two goals and one assist on the season giving her five points. And, junior Kate Hudson, the psychology major, was rewarded for her efforts in the classroom. The Spiders are en route to Charlotte, N.C. where they will face Duquesne in the first round of the A-10 championships, tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. ET.
