Field Hockey Team Participates In Tuckahoe Elementary After-School Program
The Richmond field hockey team spent some time the past two Wednesday afternoons at the Tuckahoe Elementary helping out with the school's after school program.

Field Hockey Announces Incoming Class
Richmond field hockey coach Gina Lucido announced the signing of five student-athletes who will join the Spiders this fall. Sierra Asplundh (Huntingdon Valley, Pa.), Betsy Herr (Lancaster, Pa.), Grace Krafte (Chapel Hill, N.C.), Katelin Peterson (Escondido, Calif.) and Emily Straniero (New Egypt, N.J.) make up Lucido's second recruiting class at Richmond.

Spiders To Play Five NCAA Tournament Teams In 2008
The 2008 Richmond field hockey team will play five teams that made the 2007 NCAA Tournament team as the Spiders look to make their sixth NCAA appearance in the last seven years. Richmond will play four NCAA Tournament teams in the non-conference schedule, including a three-game stretch against Virginia, Old Dominion and James Madison. The Spiders also play the 2005 and 2006 National Champion Maryland Terrapins to round out non-conference play on Sept. 28.

Sarah Blythe-Wood was named to the All-Atlantic 10 First Team, while Erin Arthur and Alex Malatesta made second team and Michelle Weaver was named to the All-Rookie Team.
