10/30/07 Women's Lacrosse Makes Strides for Breast Cancer The University of Richmond Women's Lacrosse team participated in the 2007 American Cancer Society "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk" on Saturday, October 21st. Twenty-six team members along with three coaches trekked a 5k walk through Byrd Park located in downtown Richmond. The event was a part of the nation-wide Breast Cancer Awareness month.
4/26/07 Student Athlete Leadership Committe Hosts First Annual Athlete Vs. Athletic Staff Softball Game The Student-Athlete Leadership Committee hosted the first annual Student-Athlete vs. Athletic Department Staff softball game on Monday. There was a large turnout for event for both the athletes and staff team, which included head football coach Dave Clawson, head men's basketball coach Chris Mooney, head women's swimming coach Matt Barany and Spidey the mascot.
