UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND, Va. - Richmond senior Jordan Utley was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for the second-straight week and the time in as many tournaments after finishing second at the Louisiana Classics last week.

Utley had earned Atlantic 10 Player of the Week on March 4 after finishing 10th at the Cuthbert Cup, the Spiders' first tournament of the season. He also received the honor in Richmond's last tournament of the 2007 fall season, after winning the ODU/Seascape Invitational. This is the fifth Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honor for the Richmond, Va.

The former Mills Godwin standout has posted five-straight top-10 finishes and eight of his last 10 rounds have been at even-par or below entering First Market Bank Intercollegiate, being held at Kingsmill Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.

Utley finished the 54-hole Louisiana Classics at 2-under-par 214 for his third tournament under-par in the 2007-08 season. He carded rounds of 3-under 69, 1-under 71 and 2-over 74 to finish three strokes behind the medalist. Utley leads the Spiders in scoring with a 72.44 average.
