5/10/08 Charlotte Rallies Again To Hand Richmond Another 8-7 Heartbreaker The Richmond baseball team had the bases loaded with one out in the top of the ninth, and a dazzling play by the Charlotte shortstop stole what looked to be the game-tying hit from Evan Stehle to clinch a come-from-behind, 8-7 win Friday evening over the Spiders. 5/8/08 Richmond Lets Five-Run Lead Slip, Falls To Charlotte 8-7 The Richmond baseball team let a 5-0 lead slip away and fell to Charlotte, 8-7, Thursday night in the first of a three-game Atlantic 10 series at Hayes Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. The Spiders yielded a pair of unearned runs in the decisive seventh inning to cap a furious rally for the league-leading 49ers.
