Outdoor: Finished third at the USA Junior National Championships in the 10,000 meters (31:19.03) to earn USATF Jr. All-America honors... USA Junior team alternate for the Pan American Games 10K... Ran 8:37.86 for 3,000M at the Duke Relays to place 15th and qualify for the US Junior National Champioships...Ran 4:02.51 in the 1,500 at the UNC Tarheel Invitational... Placed fifth in the 3,000 at Richmond's Fred Hardy Invitational with a time of 8:46.05.
Indoor: At the A- 10 Championships earned a fifth-place finish in the 3,000 (8:43.51) and ran on the seventh-place 4x800 relay... Placed fourth in the 3,000M (8:46.17) at the Mid-Atlantic Track Clash... Placed third in the Mile at Liberty's Record Bash Invitational.
Cross Country: Earned A-10 All-Conference honors by placing 10th in the championships... Was the second freshman to finish at the A-10 Championships... Led the Spiders at the NCAA Southeast Region Championships running 32:08.70 for the 10K race... Finished fifth in the Spider Alumni Open 5K... Took fourth at the Winthrop Fall Classic (18:41) as the Spiders' second runner helping secure the team victory... Was the Spiders' top runner in three of six races during the season.
High School:
Placed fourth at the 2005 Maryland 4A State Cross Country Championship to lead Broadneck High to the team title... Placed second in the 2005 4A East Region Cross Country Championships... Placed second in the 1,600 at the 2006 Maryland 4A Indoor Track & Field Championships... Crowned Anne Arundel County indoor track champion in the 800 and 1,600 races.
